Have a look at the pedparts blog. You might be okay with the streetrace provided that your crank is in good nick and low mileage. The issue is one of revs most of the mild sports kit hit their maximum power at arond 9500 revs and then it starts rapidly tailing off and at 11000 revs it's somewhere about 6bhp. The stage 6 kits hit their maximum power also at about 9500 revs but hold it to 11000 revs before tailing off.
A standard crank is okay with the higher power at 9500 revs but is starting to be stressed when it's still there at 11000 revs. so the combination of high revs and high power is the problem.
This broad band of power with the stage 6 kits is great as you don't need a gear up kit. The other kits need a gear up because to increase speed when the variator is wide open you need power and this is where the other kits start to lose it.
My Aerox is fitted with the streetrace 70 kit and a Top Racing (Doppler) crank because that way I had the performance and the comfort of knowing that the crank (which can rev to 15000) is understressed.
So you pay yer money and you take your choice Stage 6 and crank or other and gear up kit.

Many streetrace kits are used on bikes without new cranks but just remember not to screw it all the time, but then you don't need to as they're plenty quick and you cant ride everywhere knocking 70.

Oh right!!! Thank you for that information mate, I won't be thrashing it top end as I only really want it for acceleration, I have a parmakit 50 ATM and hits a good 65 down hill, I want to get the hpc crank but I think I'll have to have a garage to replace it Becauae Im not good with taking all the engine apart and setting ignition timings and stuff all again

For a streetrace I would say 150 miles

You don't need to set up the ignition timing. The stator plate is unbolted to remove it and simply bolted back on to replace.

Oh right so how do you set the timing then?

Its a fixed position system, it all going back together and stays the same mate

Oh right so to actually set the timing you have to take it apart?

You can't set the timing, the flywheel only goes on in one position mate

I'm confused lol I thought by turning the stator advances or retards the ignition timing but you have to take all that off to change the crankshaft

Correct, but on an aerox the stator bolts on in one position and cannot be turned to advance or retard the ignition.

Oh right, that's really unusual so do you need a certain tool to change it or something?

No mate it just unbolts, most stators can turn because the bolt holes are elongated, maerox ones are just round holes so it's in the right position when you bolt it on.

You will need a flywheel puller

As Fidddyfox says, it's really simple and you can't go wrong. You will need a flywheel puller though.

    What year is your bike?

My puller might fit, you can borrow it if so
