aerox stage 2 exhasut restrictions

hi there guys ive got a pipe coming from germany and its going take 21 days .. so the exhaust i hae on my aerox at the mo is a stage2 something or other where the expansion chamber is abouve the can really what can i do to get a bit more power out of this pipe the diameters and angles of the resonator look fairly good so i was expecting a bit more than im getting

dnt take offence mate , ive herd of stage 6 tuning which make exhausts but not stage 2 , different exhausts mite have different restrictors , was just clearing up any confusion that mite come up in the future , if it is goin to be restricted its either a cone in the downpipe , or soemthing in the end can so look there

 

kk sorry to be blunt lol erm yeh i look at it n thort wtf you must have seen them there standard on some aerox's big old expansion chamber with like a 3 inch can underneath it ?

the standard yamaha exhaust with a fat expansion chamber and a little end can that comes under the belly of the pipe has a ali plate surrounding it with stage2 on it... so anyone taking the piss look like retards now dont they?? :wtf:

and sorry mate there aint much you can do to them, get rid of it. they snap pretty easily as theyve got so much weight and rust badly around the downpipe part

well said mate, people dont actually read stuff, i wasnt thinking the make was stage 2, i was thinking he meant it had the expansion chamber and the can, eg 2 stages of the exhaust, but you know.

 

cheers yeh thats the one i was looking for restrictions so i got a few really long floppy springs and pushed one up the exit pipe (a sprig so it would bend .. obviously) and my theory was that when it stoped i had come to a restriction i then tried it with samller and smaller diameter springs until i found one that pushed through and this one resctictor was ridiculous about holf the size of the regular pipe and this was at the end of the can so basically i thougth fook it and lopped of the end can went a fair bit faster i then pushed long springs again into the pipe into the expancsion chamber and found another but i didnt risk taking this one out ... should i ?
