Aerox Speed Dip

i have noticed that my aerox has began to dip in speed recently.. the dip is usually aorund the 27-30mph speed range, but any other speed is perfect and there is no dip any where else in the rev range..

im not sure what could b causing this but i have checked the carb, jets, air filter and vacuum pipes..

any help appreciated. thanks fuj..

 

most likely worn rollers mate, check em out for flat spots etc

Do you mean it freezes for a couple of seconds at that speed and shoots up?
I got the same when i put brand new 5.5G's in instead of 5.0 and i get it at 40mph for a few secs, and it shoots up like fuck to 50
But i can live with it imp:

 

yeh like tht.. but i aint changed the rollers so i wasnt sure wot wer causin it.. its just annoyin at 30 mph, coz thts road speed, if it happend at 40 mph i wud of just left em.

Like they said its behind the variator ( Left side)
You either need an impact wrench or try and find a way to lock the variator otherwise its just gonna spin when your undoing the bolt.

 

il get mcana take it off wiv his impact gun.. n c if hes got ani rollers spare..

try 4.5 g rollers.. or slightly lighter..

when i had a just a sports pipe 4.3's worked bloody well

my rollers seem fine. jus took em of wiv ma mates impact gun.. no flat spots on em.. but put rollers bak in and its not duin it as bad.. its pissin me off now..
