I was just wondering what would work better, I have ordered a stage6 streetrace and I have a pro replica to go on but I was thinking about buying the yasuni c16 carrera, Would that exhaust work on the street racing 70? I know the c16 works better for MR kits but wanted some info! Thanks guys:)

I have a stage 6 streetrace with a pro rep, they were made to go together and it is probably the best exhaust for the kit.

Oh right, Why did you remove the snorkel and how did it react? I put my pro rep on my 52 aerox 12mm carb standard size main jet and it didn't go no faster than about 35, And running my kundo pipe it hits about 55-60

I had to remove the snorkel as it wouldn't run with it on. It would start up and the just cut out cos it was too rich and was soaking the plug. It really confused me cos I thought I had a duff plug as it would run with a short reach til I realised that the short reach plug tip was not in the squish and was protected from the main area of fuel.

Fit a 17.5mm and the pro rep and it'll be knocking 70.

The streetrace has a broad powerband and the pro rep is designed to complement this. I also have a Leo Vince ZX which gives it a little better bottom end but the pro rep murders it at top end.
My bike wheelies off the throttle and hits around 70. It's also got pollini reeds and a pollini variator. For the money spent it would be hard to find a kit to match.

Yeah I have a polini varaitor too, I was thinking of buying the stage6 inlet manifold kit as its cheaper than buying just a polini reed block and valves? I think the streetrace and pro replica will run good on my standard carb aslong as I Upjet and maybe fiddle with the air screw?

It will run on a 12mm carb but you'll need a main jet of about 68-70, I ran mine for a few days like this and it went okay. I put on the 17.5 and it felt like the bike was being kicked up the arse, the transformation was amazing.

86 is standard and that's what it is atm, I will get the 17.5 carb, I will get a garage to set the carb up as I have no idea lol, Did you do yours yourself?

My dad did it, it's not perfect but it's running well , I should really get it onto a rolling road to set it up right.
One thing though it didn't like the hot weather and was running off until it got cooler.
Your bike must be earlier than mine as the 04 on Aerox had a 62 jet as standard and needed to be around 70 with a 70 kit. Yours would need around around a 95 main jet when the kit is fitted with the 12mm carb.

Wait til you get the 70 kit, youll be surprised. I sold my 09 Rossi Rep last week and the guy who bought it brought his older son with him, he told me how fast his 09 Santander rox was and how his mates 70 was blowing.
I gave him a quick go on my bike, he almost flipped it and came back with a massive smile saying he must get a streetrace .

That's mental! All I've heard from most people is there a pretty much replacement for the standard cylinder? But ill just have to find out next week when it arrives! Do you know what the squish clearence should be? And the ring clearence too? And also how often should the rings be change and the piston and how many miles it would take to run it in? Most company's that sell the product don't know nothing about what they sell and it annoys me!

Mine just bolted on with no squish clearance issues, Its an iron kit so just take it easy for about 200 miles or so.
like you did with the parmakit. The piston is a high quality item and should last as long as a standard piston, just use good quality oil and it should present no issues.

Also when you put the 70's on did you bleed the water system with the nipple on the cylinder head?

Fill your header tank then loosen the nipple, you will first hear air escape then aerated water, then a steady flow of water. Nip it up and the jobs done.
