why does it need a new ring ? and id say adrenlin pedstop just do a goggle search but really if the ring has broke u wud of possibly damaged stuff so may need more than a ring

If you're confident it's just the rings they're not a great deal and piston kits aren't really. I'd recommend:

Good guys and they'll look after you, just make sure the barrels not knackered before you put a new piston/rings in there.

because the ring is flat with the piston i.e needs a new ring the barrel isnt scored neither the piston

ok cheers man just to tell you we tried starting it before its getting petrol but compression seemed very low but would it still start ? only thing i could see was the ring was fucked as it was sitting literally level with the piston

If the compression was low it still could start, but it would run poorly

hmm thats what i thought but theres spark to the plug petrol getting there just the compression when u kick it over it hardly pushes ur finger out the plug hole? dunno what else it could be tbh

When you kick it over it should be almost slightly hard to do if you have a bigger bore kit, if you can kick it over too easily then you probs do have low compression. It might be an idea to check that the inlet manifold is done up tightly also before you go and order

mate i can pull it over with my hand with hardly any problems atal with the plug in.it needs a ring imo as i said its literally if u run ur finger up the side of the piston and ring theres no ridge wer the ring would be.il check inlet tomoz

    check your reed block ?

also check your crank seals either of these can cause low compression

as in " stroke cycle suck squeeze bang blow

so suck fuel n air in and squeezes through the transfer ports in to the chamber but if the reed block is broke in any way or your seals are broke you wont have the squeeze so u wont get much bang and no blow lol
