heyy just wondering about my rox i am running a parmakit 50cc barrel (wider exhaust port) a doppler s3r and a stage 6 vairiator with 3 gram rollers and a pm tuning clutch now heres the thing it flys of the line screaming its tits oot then calms going into the secondary gearing but still nipping along and i can get it to about tops 65mph on the speedo on the flat is this normal?? or am i going to fuck something i never go full throttle for prolonged amounts of time and would a after market crank help this "reliabliltty" concern regards andrew
it should be good for it, if the speedo is as optamistic as my old one was, 65 works out to somewhere between 50-55 genuine mph. as with all 2-strokes though, they can let go at anytime so enjoy it while you can.
right cheers ye av heard the serox speedo is abit optamistic so crank shaft a good idea then and could it be possible to do a primary gear up??
yeah but its not worth doing a gear up kit, if you want reliability i would put everything back to stock, replace crank, bearings, leave he variator, stock exhaust but derestricted, stock filter, check everything replace what needs to be replaced and depends on how many genuine miles the bikes done, but id get the most out of it for now
i dident mean reiabillity like that i ws just scared it was over revving and the bikes done 7000 genuine miles is i have known it from the second owner cheers guys
ye because of my setup with the doppler s3r which is more aimed at 70s so i needed super light rollers to get the revs higher i tried 4 and 4.5 but it would barley move but i might try some 3.5s but i kinda like the fast acceleration i just dident know if i was doing any harm to the engine
