Hey I have a 2013 year Aerox R and I really want to do an engine swap, because the power is getting low. I'm considering coverting it from a 2 stroke to a 4stroke with a 290cc Malossi racing cylinder https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/racing+cylinder+malossi+290+cc+_m3112956 could anyone think of the challenges that I would have to overcome? For the clutch I'm thinking https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/clutch+malossi+maxi+delta_m5211821 also this camshaft https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/camshaft+malossi+power+cam+_m5914211 , this variator https://www.malossistore.eu/variator-multivar-2000-mhr-5114065-P this torque drive https://www.maxiscoot.com/malossi-torque-drive-mhr-overrange-yamaha-aerox-mbk-nitro-m619733-3.html also Malossi red clutch springs, Malossi kevlar drive belt.

    Ermmm.
What engine would you be swapping it with.
It's just. The cylinder is for a Honda. And the cam is for a Piaggio.
The 2 are not compatible, unless you have a machine shop.
What's the cylinder head you are using?
And will you be running efi or carb?

    What is the current setup?
I'm not sure if this is a troll post or not...
Would be a cool build if not..

Put a 70 on it before you try and do an engine swap... With a good 70 you will smoke a lot of bikes off the line.

I really dislike 2 strokes after riding one for about 16k miles and, the sound and the smoke production.

    Ok.
Do you know if the engine will physically fit in the frame?
    Start from there.
Also try it with the standard 250 first.
You will need to upgrade the brakes and fork oil. Because of the extra weight.

Yea the engine will fit, besides the suspension and the brake upgrades should I consider a different CDI? also the 290 engine is fuel injected so what should I do to make the moped compatible with injectors, because it has a carb now.

I think you are in over your head here.
For efi you need a ECU and not a CDI....
The ECU is a sort of brain. It tells the engine what to do at what speed.
Is the 250 Forza even variomatic?

Ah ok. The over range kit is incredible power gains for most bikes...
