Aerox problem..

Built my bike up today and I changed the jet size before I started the bike up because it was the standard 86 and I put a 96 in. the bike worked fine before the rebuild with the standard jet size in (Spark plug was blackish) and now I have to keep the revs up or it will cut out and it spluters a bit and doesn't go as fast as before

Any ideas here is the jet to big?

 

try the standard jet again mate. or it sounds like the idle mix is out a bit. im not a pro on carbs by any stretch of the imagination tho m8. but id try standard carb. why did u strip down the engine?

 

Main end bearings went.... worked fine before this tho and Nothings changed expect the jet so it must be that

 

mai jet is only used at fullt hrottle , it has no affect on the bikes idel speed, sounds like the mixxture needs tweking, can happen even if you havent played about with it

 

Tired everything to get it going today but it wanted none of it!

Now I'm just going to split the engine again and start over I must have went wrong some where :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

Just finished I just need a 10mm bolt and a 17mm bold that I'm getting 2morro nd some petrol So i'll update you tomorrow with the out come

could be air leak maybe or even oil seals, would put money on the oilseals tho mate....

took the variator off to find the oil seal was right off as well... so me nd my dad cleaned both cases on and sealed them again and I managed to round a head nut off tho :emb: and the variator nut :emb: :emb: So I'm getting them 2morro morning Other then that I need to put the pipe on and put itthe engine in the bike My bike is now pre-mix since my dad lost the pin that drives the oil pump :unsure:

Speedy what you doing on Wednesday? If its working I might pop up to have a look

 

get a decent socket set or learn how to use it
