Hi all still cannot get to the bottom of very weak spark now no spark at all, however i have removed the pick up just now & it certainly looks a little worse for wear compared to photos of newre ones. The small magnet look like ut has been catching anyone know how to get axact gap & could this be where my problem lies.....cheers

Replace the pick-up, use feeler gauges to get a gap of 1mm between it and the flywheel pick-up.
But it may well be that the stator is on the way out as well, or the coil, or the plug. Or even the cdi itself.
Start by replacing the least expensive first.
