my aerox setup is > s6 streetrace > pm tuning crank 10mm > 17.5mm dellorto(Manual choke) >malossi reeds > stage 6 air filter > malossi belt > s6 variator >3.5 rollers >malossi fly clutch, it been on 98 jet and running fine and 115 jet and running fine, but yet it is still so lean, according to the spark plug, I just have no clue what this could be I am going to try 120 tomorrow but I don't even think that will work, just want my bike back thanks
do you have a airfilter in the standard airbox? Or do you have a open powerfilter? If you use standard airbox I will guess 75 -80 jet. I have simular setup and use 77 jet with malossi sport 70cc
you're better off leaving the snorkel in, it's very difficult to jet accurately without the snorkel across the rev range, it makes the air flow turbulent, you definitely won't see any performance increase from any increased air flow by removing it.. put it back in an use a much smaller jet
rode it with old sparky then I put new it held throttle for 10 seconds turned bike off and no it didn't splutter with 98 jet in with s6 airfilter and it doesn't with 122 in
Yes you can try. But its hard to get the correct jet without the snorkel because the turbulent air thru the carburator. I can only repeat there there is no benefit to removing the snorkel with your setup so long as the correct jet is fitted.. and it will also go much healthier. Forget the sound you want, its sounds stupid anyway with a scooter that sound more than it goes
