you've probably reached ur maximum top end just by removing the restrictions and fittin and racing pipe. if the speedo goes off the clock to what it says is about 55 - 60 then youve reached ur maximum top end..

i duno about ur acceleration tho you've probably set sumthin up wrong or ur expectin too much from it. play with ur mixture needle n lean it abit but not too much..

its a process of elimination mate, start with simple stuff then get into the more technical stuff if it doesnt get better.

its gotta be a set up issue...its not about just bolting bits on you know ;)

When you say the riders heavy...how heavy exactly??

so your saying your mate has fitted a 70 kit and a load of other bits and the ped goes slower!!

something is either fitted wrong or more than likely its not set up properly ;)

15 stone is fairly heavy...but a well set up 70 should cope pretty well!!
