Right , after fitting my Polini Racing 50 kit, and my 17.5 mm carb
the bike runs fine on flats and downhills
going up, its like walking speed
    it wont go fast
Someone told me my contra spring is to heavy, and my dad told me my crank seals are gone
i give it full throttle, and no change

    help please:)

difficult to give an answer without a bit of back ground info :confused:cratch:

when you start going up hill, do the revs start to die??

if so your rollers are probably too heavy...

yeah they do dave, the revs start dying out, so basically all i needed was new rollers and not new crank seals ?

If so, my dads an ass, ordering new crank seals for me, lol

if the crank seals had gone, the general running of the engine would be pretty rough,
as extra air would be sucked in past the leaky seals...

1 way to check the seals for sure is to take your variator and stator off, the seals will be visible then...if there seams to be a lot of oil around that area, then thats a sure sign the seals are leaking ;)

but from your description i would say its a transmission/roller issue :good:

To check any suspect air leaks wether crank seals/manifold etc. run the engine and spray round the suspect area with WD40, this will temporary seal the leak and the engine revs will rise or stabilise.

ive tried the WD40 test :)
its fine, but like Capri dave said, might be my rollers which are making it shit for hills :(
but my new crank seals will be here tomorrow :)
so ill fit them, and put my old rollers in
    i have 5grs in atm :/
    i have like 3.2gr spares :)

5.0g are too heavy anyway (std are 5.5g)

Try something like 3.5 to 4.3g depending on pipe.
