aerox help electrical , im new lol

Hi all im new so go easy


Just got a aerox, the horn doesnt work , ive looked around to see , are they know to go or could it be something else wires look all alright tbh.

The rear light has only just started doing this but it stays on even when the brake levers are not being applyed ?

I can coment in sales thread does any one have a front brake switch that goes near lever for the rear light to light up. Its for a aerox 50cc i do not no if other bike makes might fit it.

Hello mate welcome to the forum, You can't post in the for sale section so people don't come here and sell their scoot and go you need to contritube and make some posts to be able to go in there.

I would recommend having a look at this service manual i posted, has eletrical problem diagnostrics with wiring diagrams and the like.

Erm it was really slow, didnt even start .Ok its just different on other forums sorry to piss sya off . Will Any one fit or does it have to be of a aerox. cratch:

There are two wires going to your brake light switch.

Un plug them, turn on the ignition and touch them together, the brake light should now come on so the switch is buggered (if the light dosnt come on it`s a wiring issue cos the brake light works on the other lever dosn`t it?)

Now do a Google for VE-UK or donotlink Pedstop and buy a new switch online :mrgreen:

Fitted them they botht work still got a problem. When the bike is not started no rear light comes on till i press levers, thats good.


Then when i start it the light lights up , but does go brighter when i press levers cratch:

my horn on my aerox 50cc and 100cc went, the horns suck

also charge you battery/buy a new 1 after all that messing around with electrics

I pressed the horn button today it went then stopped , think must be a bodged wire or something. Does the battery have to be really full charge to make the horn work, i dnt have an electric start so i am not wasteing the battery on that. cratch:

my brake light flickers too. cant be fooked to change my switch again. it's probably that mate. where you from if you're local i could hep you out?
