Hi all, I'm in the middle of making sure the Aerox I bought for my son is in tip top condition for when he turns 16 (27 days time)

One of the things I've noticed is the totally inadequate lighting, I've looked in Halfords and on donotlink-pedstop.co.uk but can't find a Halogen/Xeon bulb with the equivalent fitting, they only have a replacement bulb of the same type.
Does anyone have a website or part number? What are the LED bulbs like?

    Cheers

hi i got a yamaha aerox and recently upgraded my headlight bulb fro ma 25w to a 35w, go to HGB in ruislip and take ur currecnt headlight bulb to them and tell them u want a upgrade bulb for it.

if u not from middlesex area go to your local bike shop.

hmmm I'm in North Northumberland about 30 miles away from a bike shop, any online shops that do them? Does the 10w increase make a big difference?

    Cheers

im sure you cant put a bigger wattage bulb in if its not designed for it]

there are more powerful bulbs out there that produce less heat thus more light

i think it all depends on your wiring as well, i put some higher wattage bulbs in my car, halfords told me it wwould be fine and i ended up burning my wiring out cos it couldnt handle it
