    Hi guys,

Been a while since iv been on the forum. I'm totally stuck with a problem I have on my aerox. It's got a 70cc iron kit, stage 6 pro rep pipe,Doppler reed block and manifold and up until now a 21mm carb.
My problem is with the 17.5mm carb that I have recently bought (because I wanted to go back to a standard airbox and the 21mm was guzzling fuel)
With the 21mm carb and open filter I am running a 90 main jet and the bike was running fine. I fitted the 17.5mm carb with standard airbox and started around 80 jet expecting that to be around where I needed to be. I ended up around 90 main jet which the bike felt good on until I get to around 40-50mph where the bike will fully bog out and almost cut out. It almost feels like it's ran out of fuel. So I pull in to the side of the road, wait a few seconds and take off again, get to the same speed and it bogs out again. I tried bigger jets with the same issue. If I put the open air filter back on with the same size jet the bike runs perfect and goes right off the clock! I tried removing the snorkel in the airbox to let more air in but it still bogs out at speed. Could there be an issue with the airbox???
Thanks for reading this super long post!

Airbox is strangling the motor when it asks for more air than the stock box can provide.

    Hi,
I thought that to but if I put the 21 back on and use the standard airbox it runs fine!!
