    Hi All

In the process of rebuilding a 2006 Aerox 50cc. I have a leaky front for and have ordered the seals.
I have the forks off the bike, springs out and the oil drained.
I can't get the bottom bolt out without the damper tube spinning.
Any suggestions on holding the damper tube?

    Thanks

Welcome to the forum Spaceball. You need a damper tube holding tool to remove that bolt, it goes over the damper tube and holds it so you can remove the bolt. If that doesn't work you will need an impact wrench. Failing all that you will have to drill the bolt out.

Tried the impact wrench and failed. Just spun the bolt and damper tube.
So I drilled one out. Not fun as they are 12.9 high tensile bolts. And finally got the damper out.
In the end of the damper tube there is some cutout and I happened to have a 14mm hex bit that fitted.
So the second one took about 5 seconds to get the bottom bolt out now I could stop the damper tube from turning.
Time to buy some new bottom bolts :(
