hey my aerox starts first time on kick . but the electric start doesnt work at at all.. it recently had a new ignition fitted and a new battery and a new starter motor but still nothing, it didnt work before those were fitted and still doesnt, all the lights work (rear , brake, headlights dipped and full beam) indicators also work but only when the moped is moving , when the moped is at stand still the indicators dont flash. please help me
If it's moving and it doesn't work then check all the contacts and connections, i got pulled over the other night for a fault back light which all it was; was a dodgy contact... took me 5 mins to fix it! The electric start could be a wire loose or the bendix in the engine casing broken... need a little more information, i'd take your side casing off and see what it's like. Dan
exactly what happened to mine and it turns out a wire had erodded and become disconnected from the regulator which is on the head set next to the ignition barrel...guarenteeed!!
