when in put in the key and turn it soo its on but not running .. the indicators wont light up at all .. when i turn on the engine the indicators dont work, BUT when im riding along they work, i really want to know so i can fix this problem before MOT next month.
rear light and brake lights work and so do the headlights.

also my electric start wasnt working so i took it to a garage to fit a new starter motor and i also replaced the battery and yet it doesnt work still. having to use kick start at the moment.

these problems are doing my head in!!
soo id be very grateful if someone could answer my problems :)

bad earth from the battery... or the battery is fucked (altho you changed it) otherwise a lazy starter relay or problem wiht the ignition switch/starter switch/fusebox.. electrical can be a pain. but try in that order

Had this problem on a different bike turned out it was the fuse that had blown had all these symptoms too.

Will say the amp size on the top of the fuse, Just take it to the local halfords or something and ask someone.

could be the regulator not charging the battery properly, mine is broken as the red wire going into the regulator has rotted. it is located on the steering column behind the radiator

cheers, the person i bought it from said when he took it to the garage to get a new starter motor put in .. it worked when he rode away then he left it at college and when he came out at lunch it wouldnt start again soo he took it back and they sorted it and then it stopped working again .
and how much roughly is a regulator.??
