    Couple of pics of the progress with my aerox.

    The panels were knackered when I got the bike, there wasn't a single one that wasn't damaged in some way. After a lot of work, plenty of new plastic and a skim of filler, here it is in primer. The primer has been flatted and the paint will be going on this week.

    Hope you like it

    It is good lol... plus got a white inner leg panel coming too and a fresh rear light with built in indicators... :) just need a battery cover now...........

    I know what you mean though, did you not get the Z panels painted too ? or are they the 'shit' panels you mention lol...

    does look good though even without a light, you keeping the wheels the same colour too ?

    Yeah wheels are staying the same colour, but i have spare set so might get them powdercoated. I'm feeling gold or white. What do you reckon?

    I bought brand new Z panels, keeping them the black plastic finish as I want the paintjob to look more like a factory job then aftermarket. Wierd concept I know, but I like making things that look like they could have been done from the factory.

    Yours sounds like its gonna be pretty cool man, be sure to get some pictures :)

    Hmmmm, if your keeping the panels white, then gold would be different!... but i think white on white will look better :)

    And just seen your Wanted post saying u got new ones, did they come in the black finish you want ? ....I sanded mine down the other day and got down to some shit grey plastic,,,hence the decision for new panels lol..

    Factory does look ok, but im more of a fan of modified bikes tbh...

    And i will do mate, dont you worry haha, back end should be nice n' flush with the new light and red and white panels... im thinking white wheels too now :)

    Yeah they just came in unpainted black plastic.

    Didn't realise but I didn't put a picture up of the bike I based it on! That's why nothing I was saying made sense. Here it is;

    So now you know what I mean about making it like that, but as if Yamaha did it as a factory bike. The painter at work has mixed me up a special white that has a blue haze when it's in a shadow.

    I want it out in the sun as much as possible!

    White rims would look so fresh, but I'm doing a white front mudguard instead of blue so I want a bit of colour in it. Might just get them re done it satin black with the blue stripe.

    Hopfully the paint will done on Friday, but they're really busy at work at this isn't exactly high up on the priority list ;)

    Just need to pick up my stickers from the fellas who's making them, and maybe paint the fork legs.
