I'm relatively new to this so I was wondering what your opinions are on the following setup: Stage6 Sport Pro 70 kit Stage6 19mm race carb Stage6 straight through inlet manifold Stage6 Subframe Stage6 big double layer air filter Yasuni R exhaust Polini Big Evolution crankshaft Polini 9 roller variator with 2.5g rollers Malossi Delta clutch Malossi Primary and Secondary gear up Malossi Kevlar belt It is also run on 33:1 premix What do you think?
sounds good, 9 roller variators are pretty hard to set up though, and why the secondary gear up? good luck!
the sub frame and air filter is a waste it will only make it worse when you ride in rain , the position of aerox carb is perfect i love it , when it rains my sponge filter never gets wet. also if you are going for such a set up might aswell go for a stage 6 crank to match the kit ect, dont forget to change your bearings while engine its in two pieces , then in your case i would go for 6 roller variator stage 6 or malossi , and if you want both gear ups go for stage6 as they are already compressed so straight swap could upgrade the exhaust to c16 but the r should work aswell
I've got a rear mudguard so the filter stays dry and I thought about the c16 and I wish I got it but there's nothing I can do now :/
The Yasuni R is a good pipe mate, iv got one myself to go on my aerox, once i can be arsed to fix it lol... They aint that far off from a c16... and cost a bit less.... Overall.... decent exhaust for a 70 set up
Small update, just bought the MVT digital ignition, electric water pump, polini reed block and stage 6 boost bottle, it also got 75 on a rolling road but it wasn't at full throttle, that's what I was told
AHhhh why did you buy a boost bottle?! EVERYONE knows theryre SHIT and dont do ANYTHING... send it back mate better off buying crack tbh...... lol
Yeah mate, the rest is all good lol.. but i dont get why people order the boost bottles, they dont actually do anything, so just think of it as a sticker... lol pretty worthless..... Have you ordered the motoforce/bgm electric pump from pedparts ?? im looking at gettin one for my rox, but cant see how the fudge it connects lol...
Yeah I did but I ordered it all from Scooter Attack because I needed the digital ignition with lighting coil, neither do I really, I'll have a look when it comes, just a bit annoyed as I just spent £30 on a de-restricted cdi and the new ignition comes with a better one so I now have no use for it haha
