I own a '98 Yamaha Aerox 50cc, with a Liquid cooled engine. The water keeps leaking out of the engine anyone got any ideas on what it could be??? and what should I do about this problem??? (Also it gets upto approx... 52mph and dies down to 30mph on full acceleration.) It also accelerates poorly from take off and then after a couple of seconds of full revs it slowly gets quicker upto 30 and even quicker acceleration upto, well 52mph ?????
sounds like you have water leaking though the bearings in the water pump and could be in you ignition/stator just pray your crank ect
cheers m8 i will have a good look at it... Also there's a white liquid leaking out from underneath any ideas ??? Oh and the water is not going through to the radiator and cooling it like it should until i turn it off, anyone know why ??? Thanks
Is there anything I can do to stop the engine from seizing as the new water pump that i av ordered does'nt arrive until monday ??? Thanks
sounds like the rubber that stops it has failed and you water pump disk is fucked or the fan just get a repair kit for 13 quid , i have like 3 spair water pumps lol if you live near northampton come buy one off me lol
