hey guys, I'm trying to fix a problem with my '02 Aerox 100. i recently bored it out to a 120cc and put a malossi multivar 2000 variator in it. Wow what a difference! then a thought PIPE, so i ordered a Technigas Next R pipe, put it on and what a dissapointment! It's real doughy off the bottom and with no throttle response at all. I've put the biggest jets available into the carby but still no difference.

Should i get a bigger carby and maybe a pod filter to let it breathe? or is there something else I'm missing?

    Cheers Mark.

I'm from Aussie and there's not much too choose from down here. found the Technigas pipe on donotlink pedstop site, and they seem'd like a good thing. but since reading a few posts on here I'm starting to get the impression that they're a pretty average pipe...

fuck all this nonsence about new pipe and air filters...

the stock jet (i dont know) will be close.. so go up around 10-15%. anything else is ALL down to the rollers and clutch springs.. wont be fuck all to do with restricted air.. restrictions in the airway are GOOD for a 2 stroke carb, it simply ups the pressure inside the venturi.. this is why im running a high spec barrel on the stock airbox.. it works fine and uses less fuel.

grb ireself some lighter rollers (say a gram or two lighter than the ones you have) and throw em in.. will notice a difference straight away.

aftermarket pipes dont make power the same way as stock, its all up high and your transmission is set to use low down power you no longer have.
