Aerox 100 Aircooled plastic that covers the head

Hi bought an aerox a while ago and. It come without the part that covers the head to keep it a bit cooler ..

Anyways orderd one off ebay been waiting 2 weeks or so now still not here is there anyway to get around this without having it i havnt ran my bike since the rebuild of the top end as the mechanic said it will fry my rings without that plastic part

I have seen loads without it but do you have to mod it some how to be without it ?

 

No you definately need it.

It won't get enough cold air without it and the head will overheat - it basically creates a box round the cylinder that the fan on the side pumps cold air into.

Don't risk it.
