    i have a 2006 yamaha aerox
it has a tt exhaust and a racing clutch
it hits about 60-65 mph usualy
but the problem is the acceleration
it is very poor and slow and takes about 4-5 seconds to kick in
after 4-5 seconds it just jolts into action properly

anyone know anything i can do

i was considering getting a 70cc kit but i am only 16 so i dont think i can

    any help is appreciated

    well my names jack

    from west midlands

have a black and white 06 aerox

the only real reason i said the scooter does 65 is becasue that is what the prevous owner said

the speed does go off the speedometer though, so it deffinately goes more than 50

get the rollers from a bike shop mate either a local 1 near you or order some. do u know what rollers u got in there at the moment? ye 70cc kits are worth it i dont know pacifically how much more speed ull get but at least 15mph just make sure u get it fitted properly or theres a chance it wil fuck up possibly blow up.

mate im sorry but you dont have a clue, have you ever fitted a 70cc kit? it no way gives you 15mph on top, maybe 3-4mph you need longer gears for top speed, all that is changed is acceleration really.

well if you insist on ripping your engine apart

id recommend from personal experience for speed and reliability (not easy to come across)

    stage 6 streetrace 70cc kit

    21mm dellorto carb

    3.6g rollers and bellow

and get rid of the tt for something a bit pokier, i.e c16

if your gonna run a c16 probs gonna want 3.2g
btw always use either malossi or polini rollers, budget rollers act like flat heavy rollers and are shit.

and set your clutch to bite as late as humanely possible lol

70 kits peak power is at around 10-11000 rpm so set it for bout 10,500 rpm

you should have some front weel lifting shit aslong as you aint a fat cunt lol

and yea get it all set up nicely on a dyno BY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THEIR DOING and you will be well away mate.

oh and gear up if you want bit more top speed.

im gonna stop typing now cos my fingers are getting cramp and i need to roll a fag lol

listen to us, not your mates

stay in school and dont do drugs.

    thank you and goodnight

Oh yeah, DUH. How could I forget.
You don't need a aftermarket crank.
You want a standard crank with about 48,000 miles on it if possible.
Will last for a life time.
