Advice required

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a bit of advice, I'm going to replace the exhaust on my son's 'ped.

It's an AJS Firefox 50 2 stroke. The problem is no one lists parts for AJS, I know the engine is a Chinese knock off of another engine but would any of you guys know which engine it's a copy of?
Or can anyone recommend an unrestricted/racing exhaust that will straight swap/Swap with little modification?

Most exhausts come with the restrictor already in, even the aftermarket sports ones, either you or the seller can take it out.
It might be worth a check with AJS if the standard exhaust has a restrictor that can easily be removed.
That way you get all the power and none of the noise associated with "sports" exhausts.
I did this with the Technigas silent pro, all the power, half of the noise.

 

So, I've just had a new Technigas exhaust from eBay for my SR125, are you saying it could have a restrictor of some form fitted to it? How do I tell?! Thanks
