Had my Piaggio Skipper MOT'ED yesterday it failed on the back tyre which has now been replaced and it passed. Just one advisory which is the engine bush has detoriated but not excessively.

There was an issue where the bike wouldn't slowdown when you rolled off the throttle but that's been sorted.

But it seems to be very inconsistent power wise, sometimes gets to 60 OK other times struggles to get to 50 and pulling away sometimes is very sluggish, could this be anything major?

Up a small hill earlier it struggled at 35 on other 125s I've had 48 out of them on that hill.

    What could this be?

I also think the fuel gauge and fuel light are faulty as I put £3 in earlier and within 15 miles the gauge was near empty and the light came on nut I can see petrol just not sure how much but it couldn't be burning fuel excessively could it?
