    Hello all,
first time posting, sorry if i break any forum rules! ;)

Right, first off, a little background info..
    Bike - Speedfight 3 AC
Mods - Gianelli Extra Exhaust, 65 jet (standard jet is 54), TNT Air Filter, Malossi Kevlar Belt, Malossi Multivar Kit, 5.5g rollers

I have a slight issue. Upon installing the new exhaust, (Gianelli Extra), the bike feels slow to pull away. It is as if it is running on the clutch, and takes about 2 seconds before i goes like it should do.

I have added all the other mods but nothing has changed MUCH, is this a clutch springs issue? I have a set of yellow leo vince, which i believe are stiffer than stock. will this solve the problem?

    Thanks in advance

Yes you should have fitted the stronger clutch springs. It's also a bad idea to run an air filter on a standard 50 kit and carb.

From my experience, i'd put money on the clutch springs being too weak!

If you still have the standard ones in, get them changed asap!

I have the Malossi Black springs in my Runner and they feel good! When i put the standard ones back in i couldn't believe how pap they were... :)

+1 about the air filter too, ste standard one it a lot better :good:

thank you for the help to both of you! :)

    shall get these fitted. thanks!

what's wrong with the air filter on a standard 50cc and stock carb, never had this mentioned before?

have no problem reverting if necessary, just the standard airbox on speedy 3's looks so bloody ugly! :p

Air filter on a standard carb gives more problems than it is worth. It will be very hard to setup and you will lose power and get higher fuel consumption. I wouldnt get one until you get a 70cc kit with a 21mm carb. Anything else and it will be a waste. Trust me, revert back to the ugly, standard airbox:)
