ABOUT PUTTIN A 125 ENGINE IN A 50 SR

    I am looking to buy a aprilia sr125 bike and put the engine in my 50 sr frame bcoz i am 16 yrs old. if i was 2 put the engine in when i when to get it mot would they know if it is a 125 engine and what happen bcoz i wanna get insurance everythink????

    you cant insure a 125 for road use at 16. no arguments

    the MOT is purely a road worthiness test, they dont care if its got a hayabusa engine in.

    i would advise against this but its up to you.

    with a 70 kit and a few bits and bobs you could keep up with a 125 anyway!!

    with a real good 70 kit and a lot of bits and bobs you could beat one ;)
