What cc would i go up2 as i fancy a crf supermoto or a ktm exc but i dont think a 450 will be fine as over the 33bhp ?

you can ride any cc bike you like (even a hayabusa) but you have to have it restricted to 33bhp, i beleive the crf 250 is around that figure (don't quote me though) this is a common problem as most bikes are either 125s or over 33bhp, you are limited to very few bikes, i have a fairly comprehensive list:
(note that some are import only and some are like hen's teeth to get hold of)

    Beta

    BROS400
    GB400TT
    NV400C
    VRX400
    MAGNA250
    CB250RS
    CB250NH
    XLR250
    XLR250Degree

    Z250-B
    Z250-C
    EL250-D/F
    KL250 D7
    KLX250-G

    Suzuki
    Goose 350
    DR350S
    Intruder 400
    DR250S
    Desperado 400

    RV200

    Yamaha
    DT175MX
    RD200DX
    RS200
    SRV250
    XS250SE
    XS250
    XT250
    SRX250
    Drag Star 400
    SRX400
    SR500
    SR250

    SDR200
    TT250
    Serow 225
    SR400
    SR500
    Tricker 250

Also there are a few 125s that are near the 33bhp limit, the RS125 (full power), the NSR 125 (FP) and the TZR 125.

personally i would get somthing a little bigger and pay to have it restricted, although a kawasaki kmx200 would be a great unrestricted bike, wheelie like hell.

If you are looking to restrict, this website has a fairly comprehensive list of the restrictors available; http://www.fiinternational.com/Restrictors.asp

to find your local dealer, drop them an E-mail with your phone area code included somwhere, they will track them for you.

Passed my theory today, done a lesson and my trainer reckoned 2 more to get rid of bad habits and im ready to sit it

FI international are fucking expensive (like £100 for 4 washers and a certificate!) but its the only one i know of...
