new barrel and piston came today back to the dremel :msn1:not moaning but the differance in malossi castings is pot luck this new one is one of the best i have seen no seams in the ports boost ports are the same height
they have always been a bit hit and miss... messure them when you get them.. there upto 1mm out on the exhaust port.. fuckin state of some of the transfer edges too.. think thats bad, try a rep kit fresh from the box LOL just slipping the pipe back on mine.. lets see wtf is goin on
im not sure what it is now.. just lifted the exhaust timings, much more power hiding there but its almost asif its misfiring/REALLY rich... could be a depolarised flywheel dodgy jet or the like, the clutch has turned itself to an ashtray (thought it might with the state of the pins, no choice) so im stuck at work scratching my head hitting the calculator.. barrel is deffo fine, crank and case is fine. no leaks... might sling a 17.5 on for now just to iliminate the carb (no reason for it to work one min then not the next other than that jet i switched but i dont have the other to hand) dropping the needle helped but not much.. i can but wait for the clutch and try a couple more things.. can may be a little long, pipe is DEFFO not liking the new timings altho it wouldent cause it to run this badly
