hey, i will be turning 17 next year and i am going to get a 125cc bike rather than a car (bikes are well more fun!) i am 6ft and will probably 6ft1 by the time i get it so what bikes would you recommend for someone tall like me, i am average weight for my height so that isn't a problem just being so long haha... i like most type's of bike apart from the off road crosser type bikes really but i am open to suggestions in fact i need suggestions! oh and not to expensive bikes i am not made of money.. i will be spending no more than 1000 on the bike so keep that in mind.

    thanks guys!

6ft aint that tall. I used to have a aprilia rs125 at 17 and it was only a little bit cramped. What kind of journeys will you be doing, how practical does it have to be and what is most important to you performance or reliability and economy. Unfortunately 125s lean toward one or the other

Yeh i understand im just sayin im the same height. If you want something taller you will need a crosser or a trailie. They are a bit expensive and not exactly a looker but what about a hond varadeo 125? Again what is important to you, performance or economy? Oh btw a mate if mine had a sachs xtc 125 4 stroke and that was great. A you get a big bike feel with 125 performance it wont under or overwhelm you and they are reliable because they have a suzuki 125cc four stroke engine

I have a cbr 125, people slate them but its never missed a beat and is one of the quicker 4 strokes around.
A little bit of tinkering will see 80 on the clocks if you tuck in, lube up and skip lunch.

NSR's are good, beware high millage ones as they wont last long and will need a engine rebuild at around 22k but i suppose that goes for any 2t really. Slightly bigger physicaly than other 125's and i found it fairly comfortable and reliable if looked after
