Hey all, Its under a month till my 16th, and I'm still unclear on a few things scooter wise! For my CBT various companies offer rental of a bike for an extra cost. If I wanted to drive my own bike, how/would I need some sort of insurance to drive it on the CBT, and would I have to take it down there in a van? Also for Insurance how much should I say my bike is worth? I got it for a bargain (i think) so I'm not to sure what to put as its market value. Thanks a lot. Moped Guy.
You would need to insure it. And yes you would need to take it there in a van. It really isn't worth it for the £10-20 it normally costs for bike hire. As for the value. Just put down 600 or so. It doesn't actually change the price of insurance anyway as they value it if you have to make a claim.
I wanted to drive it off after i passed, but you're probaply right, might aswell pay the extra and get insurance sorted out proparly at home. Thanks alot :thumbsup:
