Now i have my runner 50 im looking to buy a 70's kit, exhaust etc. But before i do that im thinking of changing the crank, bearings and so on as i think i've read its better for an engine rebuild when tuning?

ATM on the runner i've got a ZX on and thats it
What crank would you suggest? (I'm thinking about an MHR Rep or malossi sport) but i read someones post saying you have to use certain type of oil, petrol etc? dont know if its true could some one say? also bearings? and C4 mains or whatever? where could i get these? and have i got the right names?

lol sorry for all the complete newb questions but basically i want to 70 my runner without it going pop the next day.

    Thanks in advance.

#2 oil, you are best to use a good fully synthetic no matter what (usually about £6-10 a litre.) the crank it's self dosnt need different oil but you start to throw more power through a set of bearings (mains, big-end, little end etc...) then you start to need somthing a little better to lubricate it.

malossi cranks in my opinion are overpriced although they are pretty bulletproof by all accounts.

c4 mains arent really a necessity but imo they make the bike smoother and in theory last better with more powerful bikes (they have closer machining tolerances than standard C3s)

    blahhh

I'm thinking of just throwing a MHR Rep in there for now, then start saving. Will it work fine with the ZX i have?

    You go do that....

You know what the real answer is in your original posting and now your just being abstruse and satrical. And if you vocabulary doesn't stretch to this comprehension, I suggest you research it, (thats spelt G-O-O-G-L-E  )

i sudgest you find the search link on the page and dont argue with people who can ban you m8... as for a zx, i wouldent use one with an iron kit let alone an mhr rep. these questions have been answerd MANY times befor so its no supprise people dont want to explain it for the 7th time. simply search crank or mhr or zx and you will find a million posts

Here's a tip for free; tread carefully...

    You previously said

"But before I do that I'm thinking of changing the crank, bearings and so on as I think I've read it's better for an engine rebuild when tuning? "

and then you say and ask:

"I'm thinking of just throwing a MHR Rep in there for now, then start saving. Will it work fine with the ZX I have?"

Very contrasting, but hey what do I know? As for abstruse, well the above is very hard to understand my "school boy" friend

The Leo Vince ZX is a 50cc pipe, so it will most likely restrict a MHR rep.
