Just bought a MBK booster to do up as a project over the next year, will make a project page when i collect it. Just wanted some suggestions for it engine wise?

Ive decided its gonna be a 70 with renthals and in lime green

Needs to be pretty reliable as im keeping it for myself for everyday use but im using my Jetforce as a run about until i finish the project :)

so yeah, suggestions for set ups please?

    17.5/19/21m carb
    matched inlet
    modded reedblock
    open fiilter
    polini vari/belt ect
    decent pipe

    reliable and cheap

    or if you want more
    mhr rep
    decent crank
    21/25mm carb
    bla bla bla
will still be reliable if set up well

Iron kits are not more reliable then alloy ones, it's a myth.
Alloy kits are superior to iron kits in every way, except once they have a scratch on them, you have to get a new one.

not as such reliability... pistons can be harder and they are harder to mark... they last longer. a reliable engine is not down to parts.. its down to how well its setup and built

LOL you'll be wanting to upgrade transmission for sure, they are dodgy to say the least. Check out my (slightly wavering i must admit) project page for ideas mate, they are pretty good in my opinion anyway. Is it the old Booster or the NG like mine?

LOL asked that exact seller on ebay about the Aerox forks (as i'm doing that conversion myself this week), and i posted on this last night (check my previous posts) and Minor strongly recommends a larger clutch and overrange variator. My recommendation is to get a 107mm clutch setup while you're at it as you'll have the 105 mm 2 shoe clutch. Ohh and i'm the originator of getting bigger rims so no copying me :p Only jokin lol makes a huge difference to your handling, highly recommended.

Same as mine by the way an NG ;)

Alright you might not realise it but it will make your bike handle much better than stock, trust me i've gone from them tyres to yamaha Jog rims, and the difference is huuuge, your call though. Personally i think it looks nicer with big rims ;)
