Looking at buying a 94 honda cr125 road legal it has a gear problem, and was wandering if anyone has built any Cr's in there time and no much about the gear selector The only minor issue with the bike is it occassionaly jumps out of 1st gear due to a stretched selector fork but included with the sale is a complete gear selector drum, full set of selector forks and a gasket set so easily sorted.
Remove the engine and take it to a decent garage , if you supply all the parts , i can't see it being more than 2.5 hours labour to rebuild and thats taking it easy . I suggest you also replace the piston and rings whilst you have the work done , simply for peace off mind.
