Hi there, I am trying to find 8” wheels for a friend’s Velocifero V50 first registered 12/6/2003. A guy who runs an online business selling spares told her its the only Velocifero in the country with 8", rather than 10" wheels. The first time she got a puncture and needed a new innertube for her Volicefeo, of course she got sent a 10" tube.

It's such a shame for it to be scrapped because of this, or is there a way of changing the setup to take the more common 10” wheels?

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Inner tube size for that is 3.50 x 8, available all over the place.
It also looks like that scooter has split rims, same as the early Vespa's and Lammy's.

Confucious reigns though...........why do you need replacement rims for that bike? They're not something that usually goes bad.

And as for getting punctures, you can always ULTRASEAL the tubes.
It's something I do on all the Enduro/Moto-X bikes, I have also Ultra sealed the tubes on my XTZ750 even though it has 4mm thick inner tubes fitted.
Basically, any bike that has spokes and an inner tube these days needs to be Ultra sealed.

As said there are plenty of 3.50 x 8 tubes available just make sure you don't get one for a wheelbarrow lol
Only thing you need to check is the valve stem. Some come with a straight stem and others need a 90 degree bend. Check the old one.
Do a search on ebay/amazon for that size of tube, not the scooter model, or try any local scooter dealers as Vespas used this size of tyre/tube for years.
