Hi everyone, I am wanting to upgrade to a 70 and have been looking at kits, i had a quick browse on good scooter parts suppliers and found that a quite good stage 6 70 kit is around £100 Then i went on eBay to see if anybody was selling any and came across a 70 kit from germany £66 + p&p i am not sure if to purchase the cheaper one because as you know some cheap parts will brake in like 100 miles, i want to know if i should buy the cheap one or spend abit much more and get a well known make. Here is the cheap one(£66 + p&p): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/70cc-Cyli...35?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item27d3d5f70f Here is the stage 6 one(£99.95 + p&p) : http://www.pedparts.co.uk/product/542/stage6-cylinder-kit-streetrace-70cc--aerox-minarelli-lc
Goes without saying u get what u pay for buy cheap buy twice and all that. U will prob end up buggering the cheap one and buying a s6 n e way so get the stage 6 mate trust me...
Obviously the majority of people will say to go for the stage 6 one, And im one of them, For only £40 difference you know your getting one of THE very best 70cc kits. But on the other hand, I wouldnt say the cheaper one is shit, it will more than likely perform as well as the stage 6 one, But the world we live in is "More £££ = Better quality" Same with a Tshirt, buy one from asda for a £5er, or the same tshirt with a lacoste logo on for £50, theyre both the same and both will stop your nipples getting cold.... Not everything thats made cheap is cheaply made, but the majority of it is lol
get the s6 i did the same with a 172 kit on my old runner the NGF kit had a malossi before, got this cheap kit and it was shocking ports all ruff much less power and so on, might look the same but the ports could be diffrent atleast you know the s6 is a good buy from the start
Get the Stage6, the other one will more than likely be of poorer quality material & casting and the porting won't be as good and accurate as the Stage 6.
