Hi guys, I'm having a new crank fitted to my Gilera which has a 70cc stage 6 streetrace top end. I wanted to replace all the top end seals and gaskets during the rebuild but I can't find a gasket set for this kit for love nor money. Don't get me wrong loads of shops sell them, but no one has any stock! Can anyone confirm I'm I'm OK to use a base gasket from any 70cc kit for the piaggio engine? Hmmm base gasket should fit, but experience tells me otherwise. Also you must remember to set squish. Different kits have different gasket thickness for squish.
