Ive recently had a 70 kit fitted and upjetted but the bike stays at 7 thousand revs it feels like it wants to pull but dont th bike has a viper pipe don know if this has anything to do with the slowness it goes around 40mph with the kit anyone help thanks Robbie
which kit was it? what jet was in the carb before and what is in it now? what weight of rollers are in the variator? The viper pipes are poor to be honest, there are many much better ones out there.
The kit was called motorforce or something I got it from pedparts and the jet was 58 I tried all in my kit up to 72 72 was the only one that didnt bog out so I kept that one the rollers are 5.5 gram and I know I asked the garage I went to to fit me a pipe I said get me the best one you could find and he got me a shitty viper ? Do you mean you worked your way from 58 up to 72? If they all bogged out apart from that jet you may need to go a little larger again. Find out exactly which mtoforce kit you have, there are several on there.The garage may not have known much about scoots and just fitted whatever they could get their hands on. The viper is acceptable on a 50 but a leo vince tt or zx etc would be a stronger pipe. I have no experience of the viper on a 70 kit, they may not go too well together. You could try lighter rollers as well to try and get the revs up to 8000 or so and see if it pulls better then.
