no they dont.. useless with a stock/unported barrel hence the bad reviews by mechano builders ;)

ye.. but a dial guage is kinda hard as you have to know the hight of the head... just use solder messured with vernier calipers..

in the plug hole to the cylinder wall and slowly turn the engine by hand on the flywheel.. it will squish the solder and that is the distance

if your changing the stroke of a crank the ports made for a 52 will be wrong..

    i think i understand u now minor

example [bare in mind this is an example im sure youll get it ]

you have a 1.3 ford cvh engine and bolt o a bottem end from a 2.0 mondeo not much point with this head as your not using the full potential of it [you may or may not get this this is the sort of tuning im used to 4cyl 4ts

cheers for all yous help and info will get in contact when i wanna have my engine matched etc

    thankyou steve

p.s [ the 1.3 cvh head is compatable to that of the old durated 2.0 and many other bottom ends as ford are lazy bastards and used that engine in like everything ]

pretty much, the valves and ports in the 4t head wouldn't cope, just like the ports in the 2t cylinder wouldnt be up to it, although the position of the ports is the crucial factor on a 2t whearas on a 4t its more down to the size

yeah but the position when increasing the stroke on a 2t is fixed by the packer plate i guess where as in a 4t its simple on top or no where lol
