would a 125 typhoon engine fit in a 50 runner framewit the usual bit of grinding if not when fitting a runner 125 engine do i need tah put a runner 125 rad and fan and will these fit straight in the place of the 50 rad lol i bet u thinkin im stupid but neva looked into it b4 and nw i wnt to do it cheers for any feedback dave
I think a 125 typh engine fits in with the usual grinding...(if im wrong someone will correct me ) of course the 125 Runner fits in with the usual grinding, and yes you are going to have to use the 125 Radiator and fan.... But these 125 into 50 Runner conversions are frowned upon on here!!! much easier to just buy a 125 Runner in the 1st place
ok cheers m8 jus tht i had a 50 took the engine out and was gonna fit a malossi mhr team kit, crank, yasuni c21 to the dogs reli and nw im old enuf for a 125 i thought rather thn fixing ma fookd 50 engine id jus drop a 125 in if tht makes sense to yah works ou cheaper and faster lol
I don't think its as simple as dropping it in m8, no doubt you will be able to get it working. But what about getting it legal? Not so easy/ cheap I imagine... I've heard stories of DVLA asking for a receipt from a garage to show the works been done professionally, and so on... I'd look into it properly before you get started, i.e. work out all the costs compared to just going and buying a 125 runner!
