50 exhaust/?from bigger bike?

Hope this isn't too dumb a question!
Have a 50 'ped-how would it work in relation
to trying exhausts from say bikes up to say
100cc,would there be major problems in
relation to rev range/carburation +,working this angle
based on giving me greater range for selection based
on 50 top-end/mild porting.
