i know the variators in the 200vxrs are a pain in the arse. anyway my runner is fine it goes along nice etc but its never been too revvy anyway i went on a new style runner 200 and it revs alot more. i know the old ones werent designed to do this but it felt nice. anyway the rollers in a 200 are something stupid like 20.3 by 17 or some shit. so aftermarket rollers are out of the question i have a few sets of as new rollers and was wondering if i should drill the inserts out using scales to get them all perfect weight. how much shall i shave off to start with 0.5 gram maybe. does anyone know what weight standard 200 rollers are to get a guess. i dont want to lose any top speed but i will fit a bigger rear tyre if i can get a happy medium just wanted to mess about with what i have got as the bikes done fuck all mileage just want it to rev alot cleaner and be a little quicker around town. i could get a new variator but thats just easy
i have now been told the new runners have bigger valve heads and a better ignition so my messing about with rollers may not have the effect i was aiming for
Well I personally think mine is quite "rev-ie" for a 4 stroke and it's 2003. I guess this is useless information though lol.
yours runs 125 stuff so they do rev. the new 200s rev like a 125 does but i see its not just rollers now they may have sorted the dodgy fueling as well
you need to ride the very short (by your standards ) distance to me with your spare sets of rollers and let me have a fiddle lol dont try and drill them with ahand drill you will fook them and you up
i wouldnt mind a day tinkering with it so mail me what days you are free and ill sort something out
