basically i have a 4 stroke Taiwanese scooter

ive fitted a new Technigas racing pipe

    80cc bore kit

    this improved acceleration alot!

Is there anything else i can do to improve the top speed, im lucky to get 42mph out of it on a good day
i was wondering what rollers would be best to use?

Your picture is of a 2 stroke pipe?
Are you sure it's a 4 stroke? Lmfao.

and 42 out of an 80cc is not good, I get 46 out of my Sym Jet with only rollers and pipe :L

Edit: Just looked up your bike and pretty much confirmed that your pic is of the bike and yes, you have put a 2 stroke pipe on a 4 stroke.

But it's not a 4 stroke pipe, it's a 2 stroke pipe, completely different design for a completely different engine.
You need a 4 stroke pipe (straight pipe to an end can with baffles) to get the best performance.
Not a 2 stroke pipe (expansion chamber to an end can of fibre wadding)

If it's the pipe in your pic, then they haven't a clue what they're talking about.
I've grown up around bikes and the differences between 2t and 4t were one of the first things I learned :p

that exhaust is a 2 stroke exhaust, there like the stage 6 design.
it would be fine to use it, but... it will restrict you. :)

actually there are a few exhaust manufactures producing 4T exhausts designed to look like 2T exhausts, I found it odd at first and think this is what is confusing people.....

I found this out while searching for different exhausts for my 4T a while ago.

Yea it's odd personally I think its a strange design to make a 4T exhaust that looks like a 2T one but the lad is correct I think possibly will be a tad more restrictive than a standard exhaust due to the curves.

Personally if its a GY6 based 4T engine (this I am not sure of as he's not said what time of engine it is) I would go for something like this >>Leo Vince 4T ZX Exhaust<<click for link

To answer his main question though your gonna need to do more than a bore kit and an exhaust, 4T's can be expensive to tune but the Chinese & Taiwanese can prove to be a bit cheaper IF you can figure out which parts will fit your particular engine, luckily more of the people who run performance part shops/website for scooters are cottoning on to the fact that more people are buying these scooters, just figure out which engine you have.

rules for a 4T are Bottom end build for strength and high rpm's & top end (head etc) for power

Look at getting if they make these parts for your engine:

    • a better free flowing exhaust
    • an uprated cam designed for use with an 80 kit
    • an uprated carb
Transmission setup is another area to consider that 4T engines don't rev as high as 2T engines so bear this in mind when your thinking of buying after market parts, weights, rollers clutch springs variator pitch and angle will all make the power delivery behave diffrently to that of a 2T engine.

Personally if you just want a quicker bike it may be best to consider selling up to get a 2T 50 (if your only 16 keep it legal) as the knowledge that is out there how to tune them to a decent speed is more realistic, or you could wait till you turn 17 and get a 125.
