I have a Peugeot vclic 50cc which is just the BT49QT-9, but just rebranded by Peugeot. I currently get about 40mph on the flat but my acceleration isn't very good. I think it has a few restrictions still left on it because 40 is the max it will go, even on downhill. For the low acceleration issue, I was thinking of new rollers... is 4.5g the best weight? The lower end is mainly what I want to improve at the moment, is there anything else apart from rollers that'll get it going a bit faster?
It has a variator washer, a restricted CDI and (possibly) a restriction washer in the exhaust. It's a re-branded Sinnis scooter and the rev limiter wire to the CDI needs to be cut (Pink I think). One thing I will say though; ask SteveP about this first, as he's been working on one and the quality isn't great.
had a big screw in the top of the carb in my qt 9 on my Roma.replaced the carb for 19 mm.fat pipe and a cheap filter.got an 80 for it but waiting to get the cam and gear up and do it all engine out.as it is with out bits it does 40at a push on the flat. 45/47 down hill.
