280mm front disk for a gilera runner UPDATE

right basically i have found a 280mm front disk for a gielra runner 50 on scooter attack and being as they dotn do 125s then i cant get it from that selection, so obviously i know the disk will fit my wheel just wondering if it the bracket to extend the caliper will work with upaside the 125 vx forks i have on my bike ?????? help will be MUCH appreciated

how do i get around this then get nother bracket made i wanna huggge diskkk

well shiney thats a very good idea indeed but ill end up giving u the wrong measurments i think lol

 

shiney has a vx so he should have all the measurements needed

 

all sorted the metal man will be adapting the bracket i get with it and ive jsut ordered it £101 delivered ordered about an hour ago and has been packaged and says shipped id say friday if not then monday

lol you own a vx and you should 210 it or if you are so embaresd by it get a nos kit and give it some abuse

lol was thinkin dunno if im confused or what but if the 125 calipter is extended because of the forks already as fits the same disk as 50s standard, then why can i not just use the bracket on my 125 claliper, or shall i jsut get shiney to make me a bracket

right well basically ive sent the bracket off to shiney to be modded to fit, lol but as usual got a kick in the bollucks i thought id jsut sit the diskon a rim and see if the caliper fit....FAIL FAIL FAIL it only touches the side of the rim a fraction from the bolts than hold the two sides of the caliper into 1 so decided when i get me bracekt back that it WILL fit even if i need to angle grinded the bolt down a lil as i dotn wanna put a 50 caliper on but worst ways i will, call me bodgey if ya want just wanna be different, heres a pic what ya think...............

 

just need that for the back now jj front disk looks sick btw mate, good job
