ive had a look for this question but cant seem to find anything about it

    well basically whats cheaper.

buying the 25mm carb, that comes with inlet manifold reedblock and filter. i think its 200

or buy it all seperate, reccomendations for the best parts to use would be appreciated as im sure the complete kit doesnt have the best everything :pimp:

    cheers

not sure if there's alot of places that sell the 25mm seperatly, they like to sell them off as malossi or polini.

    but a 28mm is £55? manifold £30-35? mhr reedvalve £35?

    hope that helps

172... a 25mm on a stock barrel will feel like such a waste of time.. why not try a 28 this time?

30mm needs a hell of alot of throttle travel, needs a qa throttle just to get to full throttle.
anything over a 25 is a waste of power on a piggy block as they only flow through a 25mm hole, you will just lose low end power but gain some top speed. cut the skirt of the barrel and the 28 makes a big diff.. enlarge the stub an the 30 will make it fly.

You can buy a standard Dellorto from SC and do like I did.
just mont oil and vakuum on the carb.
