On an AC 172 what would be the difference in characteristics of these two carbs?

I have not run the stock carb and 25 but the 25 is super smooth, was a breeze to set up and just works well tbh. Covered 2k on it without a hitch

Have used 25mm handfull of times after anyone with experience on the 28mm?

I just want to know what the power delivery is like and if there is still good acceleration?

Is the bigger carb more effective at a higher speed?

25 is a good all rounder, looses out full throttle but in no way a bad carb. Perfect for a road bike. 28 flatslide is a lil oversized for the reedblock.. Also there thirsty and don't like part throttle, v peaky/quick, but you need to richen them right up or roller it heavy to actually keep revs down/power smooth at smaller throttle positions (road riding) if your throttle is a switch (you use it all or nothing) go with the flatslide, all out power, better up top/more stable full throttle fueling. If you wanna ride round loads, stick with the dell... Much easier to live with

Whilst on topic can anyone explain the difference between round slide and flatslide carbs?

Not just the look im meaning the function of the carb? Also what does pwk stand for?
