why does my 25mm stick??? it happened to lol aswell, both the cables and splitter are fine ??? its got stuck closed before aswell.?? im propa confused, someone help please imp:
my standard 12mm carb was sticking the other day. for some reason, if i turned the idle up a bit, it would stick and couldn't throttle it, if i unscrewed it the tiniest bit it would unstick and be fine, but it would idle pretty low, so i don't really know how i can put the idle up now :wtf:
:wtf: carbs are strange man, my slide looks pretty scored so im gonna go and get a new one today and see how it goes, new cables aswell while im there..
do you ever find when you turn your steering to the right as far as it goes the bike starts 2 accelerate?
throttle cable trapped or not routed properly... turning the steering should not affect the throttle cable at all...
must be grit or something getting past your air filter into the carb... I would hazard a guess your running an open filter if its a sponge type filter and not oiled, fine particles of dust/grit will penetrate the pores of the sponge!!
probably the pip in the wall of the carb.. its ether nylon or metal. push it back in the carb from the outside, if it is all the way in and still sticking then you need to replace this lil bit. find a dellorto carb stockist... (bell a webber shop an they will usually grunt and give you a number)
my derbi one used to stick open, turned out it was freezing, i made a duct from the exhaust to get the hot air around it, worked a charm.
