just looking through some pics and i found a pic of tommo's sr and i noticed the little bump in the corner of his float bowl, as if its been repaired or something, just curious because my 25 ml has that aswell?? anyone know whats its for?
yepo they always rub there j, its wen runnign a standard inlet and even sometimes the proper inlet for the 25ml, usually repaired with chemical metal, what i have done is put my polini inlet on and the clearence is fine but i have a small amount of induatrial foam(thanks paul) on my mudguard for hte carb to sit and bounce on so no trouble, even a sponge will do hope this helps
Yeah basically what jj said, i've got a malossi manifold [yes i do have some malossi parts on my bike :emb: polini FTW] and mine would still rub with the 25mm.... Use a small scouring pad/sponge.
